No More Soccer :( !!!

Last Saturday was Gavin’s last soccer game, they will be greatly missed! He scored two goals (although one was in the other teams net), it was awesome. He had some much family there that it was a little distracting for him. At the end of the game he got a trophy which is now proudly displayed in his room. I am going to miss the games but will be sure to sign him up for more sports now that I know he loves it so much.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we went to Saba’s for dinner and the Alvarez’s for games. It was a blast my Aunt Alison and Uncle Roger hosted. It was a great meal of course and even better dessert. The amount of pies we had was insane; I couldn’t help but take a picture of this memorable moment. Roger and Alison have horses on their property and my nephew Weston got to feed them. It was such nice weather that most of day I was outside. That evening we went to my other family and played scene it battle of the sexes. Well, the women lost but I am bound and determined to win the next time. We didn’t have Gavin Thanksgiving which was a bummer but I know he had fun. He also came home with a big bruise on his ear which being a typical mother I over reacted and was so scared he would lose his hearing. It was a great Thanksgiving and I can’t wait until next year when I have another excuse to eat myself into oblivion. This is my Cousin DeaAnna and her Husband Jacob and their cute little girl Brooklynn. This is a picture of where most of the men spent Thanksgiving!!

Field Trip to BASHAS

Yesterday I went with Gavin and his class to his first field trip. We went on a tour of Bashas, I really didn’t know what to expect, but it was so neat and all the kids loved it. I never knew you could get a tour of Bashas and that it is free, they also give you pizza and cookies for FREE! First they watched this lady make cakes, she was so fast it took her five minutes to make one cake ( to decorate ). They gave all the kids little turkey rings then it was off to watch then make pizza’s. I still can’t get over that they just gave us two large pizzas for taking a tour. The tour guide took the kids to the sea food area and let the kids touch a lobster. It was really a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed themselves so much. At the end of the tour they brought the pizza and cookies out for everyone to have. By the way my kid was the only kid who asked for FOUR slices of pizza. I only gave him three but he still wanted a fourth. I have no clue where he puts it?!

My little Minja!!!

Gavin was able to have two costumes this year one a postman (he was this for actual Halloween) and a ninja. According to Gavin it is a minja anyways, he had a Halloween party at preschool so he got to dress up. I let him pick out his costume and he was so excited, I of course wanted him to be a zombie doctor who had blood every where and his organs falling out but he wouldn’t even try on the costume.
He wanted to keep the mask on all and a kept doing karate poses. It was so skin’ cute. I don’t have any pictures of him in his postman costume yet but as soon as I do I will post them.

On Halloween we went to my cousins house for a little get together. I have the cutest nephew ever he was JIM from The Office and Wade was Dwight. I can't get over how awesome those costumes were. If you don't know who I am talking about you really need to start watching The Office, IT'S GREAT!!!

ONE FAST TRIP!!

If you know me well you know I am obsess with Disneyland. This past Saturday Troy and I decided to make a day trip to Disneyland with three other couples. Well, the original plan was only three couple to begin with which would make driving to Disneyland and back in one day less difficult. However another couple decided to come so we had to take two cars.
So on Friday we go to bed around midnight and I get up a 2:30 to get ready to leave by 3. Well to no surprise people ran late so we didn’t leave until 3:45am. I figured if I drove most of the way up there that it would give people a chance to sleep and would allow me to sleep the drive home later that night. I drove most of the way up about 4 and ½ hours and couldn’t drive anymore. We got to Disneyland and spent all day there and at California Adventure Park.
We ended up leaving the parks around 11:30pm; I was excited to be able to sleep on the way home. Troy started off driving and it took him about 40 minutes to figure out how to get back on the I-10. I finally suggested asking someone and he took my all knowing advice. No soon did we get on the road did I look over to see him almost falling asleep. So once again I had to drive. I though I will drive for about 3 hours and some one else can take over. I did just that and Troy drove, then other 20 minutes passed and he was about to fall asleep. ONCE AGAIN I drove but this time I just drove all the way home. I almost died because I was so tired. I love Disneyland but will NEVER do that again. I got to sleep Sunday morning around 7:30am!
