Baby Shower...... THANK YOU!!!

I don’t even know where to start for this particular post. I first need to express my overwhelming appreciation to all those who helped with my baby shower. I had one of the most beautiful showers of all time. It was such a spectacular day and to be honest a very emotional one too. Not only am I pregnant and emotional all the time, it was just a wonderful fulfilling moment. In case you can’t tell yes that is Lynn and I crying as we try to take a picture together. This is because it is the first time and most likely last time we will be pregnant together. Also, we have been though so much it was an overwhelming joyful moment.

My aunt Liz (I have said it before and will say it again is AMAZING) made the most perfect cake. She had such a talent! You can’t deny it, the cake is exquisite! I have such remarkable friends who did the decorations. Lynn came up with the idea, where she gets these ideas are beyond me! My sister in law and mother in law put together this adorable candy bar as the favors. I later found out that they hand pick out all the pink and green m&m’s! My unbelievable sister, mother, aunts, cousins, and in laws brought the food. I am a huge fan of appetizers and requested a few! I can’t forget about my dad and bother in law who helped set up tables. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I am so fortunate to have such awesome and loving people in my life. This pregnancy has been a long time coming and I am so grateful for all the support in my life. If I don’t stop this post soon I wont be able to finish it because I am already welling up!

We are just a little emotional

Christmas 09'

This year for Christmas we decided we would make capalletti’s. They were delicious as to be expected. I honestly have to say my family makes the most phenomenal food. We are so blessed to have such amazing cooks! We all got together to make the main dish at my aunt Liz’s home. Being pregnant I had to have some during the process because I am like a ravenous pig at times. The result, a happy and full pregnant women. It was a wonderful time together. Having the women in my family helping makes you really appreciate one another. There are many times throughout life that are embedded in my mind and this makes the list.

Christmas Eve was amazing and full of love. After enjoying the scrumptious meal we gathered around the family room for some stories and games. We always try to wait until midnight to open any gifts, which is huge challenge for the kids. After which we enjoy stuffing ourselves more with dessert. It is filling just thinking about the amount of food we eat. It was a lovely Christmas Eve with wonderful family.

Gavin helped me make Christmas cookies for Santa and dessert. As you can tell I did not make home made cookies, it is was a lot easier to have Gavin help this way. So when we got home from Christmas Eve we set the cookies out and went to bed. As usual we had to wake Gavin up for Santa. This could be because we stay up so late the night before. Gavin was so excited for his gifts but, to be honest he always likes the small gifts the best. I really love this about him! Don’t misunderstand me he definitely enjoys his larger one too but he was more excited about candy land and a foot ball then his razor.

Troy bought me a rug doctor for Christmas which was so thoughtful, being that I have been wanting a professional carpet cleaner forever. Oh how life changes as you grow up, I now am more excited about new cleaning products and amazing ways to clean them then anything else. That is most likely because cleaning is all I seem to do these days!

It was another great holiday!!!

Priceless expression

Halloween 2009

Trying to catch up again!! Last year I didn’t have Gavin for Halloween but was able to take him to my parents Halloween party at their ward. Since I wasn’t planning on trick or treating I never bought a Halloween costume for Gavin. So, last minute I had to run to my favorite Halloween store and pick one up. I have to say I think it was one of the cutest costumes! My kid looks so adorable as Maverick and I love aviator glasses!

We took Elijah with us and the boys had some fun before we left. I bought each of them their weapon of choice at the store! Boys will be boys and they spent most of their time play fighting with their bloody knifes. I personal find it hilarious although so might not :)!
