Now for the other events… On Wednesday I had my vendor party-- which went okay. I enjoyed being able to shop from the comfort of my mother's living room. I had fun, and I hope those of you who came enjoyed yourselves as well. Although it was fun, I will not be throwing a party for some time (They are a ton of work to organize). I'll still go to them, I just don’t want to have them :).
Okay now on to event three; London’s run. On Wednesday my husband decided he wanted to run a ½ marathon with Tricia and Jared. By the way, Tricia and Jared decided to run the ½ marathon a while back, so the fact that Troy decided on Wednesday is a bit comical. So I signed him up, and on Saturday he ran 13 miles. He made it in 3 hours 17 minutes, which is not too bad for not training and deciding three days earlier. I have to say I am so proud of him. I told him I would join him next year in the run after I train and look better in my gym clothes. Jared and Tricia did very well, in fact I am so impressed with Jared, he did awesome! I am also very proud of Tricia as well. She ran the whole way and looked good the entire time. Kristen and I had a great time driving from mile marker to mile marker cheering them on. - Being a supporter sure was exhausting!! After the race we went to Logan’s Roadhouse so the runners could eat all the calories they burned off. The funniest thing was when the waiter seated us we had to warn him that the racers might smell and not to think these people dressed like this for fun. It was hilarious to see them walking around like they were dying, which they were. I can’t wait until next time when I am able to run myself to death! Awesome day and an awesome run!!!
It was so exciting to see them win!!!!! Troy before the race!! The prepared runners and one crazy guy! The supports and a good lookin' runner
